The 2015 roller derby season is over but that doesn’t mean we stop swimming! Badfish Roller Derby will be busy with a handful of off-track events and butt-kicking practices. See the details below:
Off Season Practice
Still reeling from a fast, furious and fun 2015 bouting season, our Badfishes cannot get enough track time. Weather permitting; we will be holding regular practices Sundays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays with the exception of the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays.
Giving Back
We’re pleased to announce this holiday season we will be collecting new unwrapped toys, sports equipment, clothes and/or school supplies to be given to the LBFD Spark of Love Toy Drive for disadvantaged families in our community.
Donate goods and practice for free
Drop-in practice fees for non-BFRD members will be waived if you bring in one of the aforementioned items valued at $10 or higher.
Parades!
Catch us skating along East Second Street in the 33rd Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5th (details here). Also, you’ll find our fishes rolling along Daisy Avenue the following
Friday, December 12th, in the 62nd annual Daisy Avenue Christmas Tree Lane Parade .
